Our Mission

Our mission is to educate and empower students to reach their highest level of independence and potential through an individualized, comprehensive educational program infused with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques. Our goal is for each student to be able to thrive across settings and into their future.

Estrella Day School is a Private Special Education School. We serve students ages 5-21 with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and other severe learning disorders. We are located in Goodyear, Arizona.  Additional programs provided at the school include Respite and Enrichment Break Camps. The goal of ALL OF our programs is to help students achieve their FULLEST POTENTIAL. 


Our Team

Dr. Katie Sprouls, Founder

Dr. Sprouls is the Co-owner of Estrella Day School, Eleutheria, LLC, The Wellness Center: Yoga & Therapies, PBIS Arizona and Eureka Wellness. Dr. Sprouls is a certified School Psychologist, Special Education Advocate, Professional Development Curriculum Designer/Trainer, and director of the Yoga Teacher Training Program specializing in teaching students with disabilities.

Terri Chace, CCC SLP, Founder

Terri Chace is the Co-owner of Estrella Day School, Eleutheria, LLC, The Wellness Center: Yoga & Therapies. PBIS Arizona and Eureka Wellness. Ms. Chace is a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.

Jasmine CarneY,

School Director

Jasmine began her career in special education 15 years ago. During her time in this field, she has worked in both private and public settings. Jasmine taught students from elementary through high school. Within these grade bands, she worked with a range of abilities from severe/profound, mild/moderate, and emotionally disabled. Within this profession she worked as an IEP Coordinator, Mentor Teacher, and Assistant Principal. Jasmine received a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary and Special Education and Master's in Administration from Grand Canyon University. Through the years Jasmine has volunteered with Autism Speaks, worked alongside Vocational Rehabilitation, and have offered her services as a special education advocate within my community. Jasmine has dedicated her life to this ever changing and highly rewarding population. Jasmine enjoys spending her extra time with her 3 incredible children. She loves going to the movies, playing games, and swimming with her family. She frequently travels to Michigan to spend time with her family and experience the seasons.


Sidney Carthell, BA, RYT-200, FoundING MEMBER & Arts Enrichment

Sidney is a health and wellness professional, martial artist and yoga instructor at The Wellness Center, with a B.A. in English and a strong background in K-12 education. Sidney is the Chief Operating Officer at Estrella Day School. Sidney is also the arts enrichment educator.

Beth Mosiman, M.Ed, Special Education Compliance Specialist

This will be Beth's 20th year working professionally in the education field. She has a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Math from National Louis University, a Masters Degree in Special Education from Northeastern Illinois University, and an Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Northcentral University. Beth began teaching in the Chicagoland and moved to Arizona in 2010. Beth has worked with children since she was 15 years old, starting out as a camp counselor and eventually overseeing the entire camp while attending college. She enjoys working with children of all levels and abilities. She also enjoys supporting new teachers in understanding best practices and how to meet students' needs. In her spare time, Beth enjoys spending time with her husband, kids, and dogs, as well as watching movies, reading, and practicing yoga. Beth is the lead compliance specialist for the Estrella Day School advisory board.
